Strawberry bread rolls:

Mmmm. As a mother, I know how hard it is to make our kids eat. We always try to find recipes that are filling and healthy too. My daughter is not picky with her food but she always want something new in her plate, that might be as simple as plating her food in a different style to a complete different meal. she had a end of school party and I made these strawberry bread rolls. she bought the empty box back home. she loved sharing those with her friends.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • Bread Slices : 4
  • Strawberries : 1 cup (finely chopped)\
  • Cream cheese : 4 tbsp
  • Honey : 1 tbsp
  • Butter : for toasting
Recipe:
  • Cut the edges of the bread. Using a rolling pin, roll the bread to make it even and easy to roll.
  • Apply butter on both the sides of the rolled bread and keep them aside.
  • Take a pan, on the medium flame toast the bread and keep them aside. Optional: Put sugar on the bread while toasting, it gives that caramelized touch to it.
  • Keep the toasted bread aside.
  • In a bowl, add cream cheese and beat it for a minute to make it smooth. To it add honey and mix them together.
  • Now add the chopped strawberry to cream cheese and honey mixture. Mix well until strawberries are coated well with the cream cheese.
  • Put the mixture in the toasted bread and roll the bread. And they are ready to go. YaY!!!

Have your little helping hands accompany you. They will love making their food.

Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment and creativity.
